The number of pixels per inch

Color Mode
The type of model used to create color.

RGB
The color mode used in display applications such as a TV or Computer monitor. Colors are created by mixing Red, Green and Blue channels

CMYK
The basic multi-color mode used for printing processes. Colors are created by mixing components of Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and •Black.

Bleed
Bleed is ink that is allowed to print beyond the page edge - usually to be cut away

Creep
Native File
The file that the project was created in. In the case of a brochure, book, business card, etc. this will be the page layout program

Hardcopy
Any printed piece usually used as a prototype or reference for what the final project will look like.
